Domain expert governance — FDD knowledge backbone adapted for SBX with tool, system, business, and data expert types

Rules

DXP-001: FDD provides abstraction guidance for ALL processes. Every capability follows FDD principles.

FDD methodology underpins the entire SBX workflow. Selective application creates inconsistency between capabilities.

Verification: Capability review: FDD five-process structure reflected in capability design.

DXP-002: Domain experts are the knowledge backbone. Each capability has domain experts.

Domain experts carry the institutional knowledge that guides development decisions. Without them, capabilities lack domain context.

Verification: Capability audit: each capability references at least one domain expert.

DXP-003: Domain expert 'scope' defines bounded knowledge area: topics, sources, artifacts, integration points.

Unbounded scope creates overlap and ambiguity. Explicit scope prevents multiple experts from covering the same ground.

Verification: Expert YAML: scope section defines topics, sources, artifacts, and integration points.

DXP-004: Tool-based domain experts (git, op, docker) control CLI operations with expertise knowledge.

Tool experts encode operational knowledge — correct flags, common pitfalls, platform-specific behavior. This prevents reinventing CLI workflows.

Verification: Tool expert: study document covers common operations, error handling, and platform quirks.

DXP-005: System experts (sbx, fdd) know framework workflow and governance patterns.

System experts encode meta-knowledge — how the framework itself works. They guide other experts and ensure governance compliance.

Verification: System expert: study document covers framework protocols, governance rules, and workflow patterns.

DXP-006: Business domain experts (real-estate, booking) research market, audience, competitors, best practices.

Business experts bring external domain knowledge into the framework. They inform entity modeling and feature prioritization.

Verification: Business expert: study document covers market analysis, audience personas, and competitive landscape.

DXP-007: Data experts can fetch, analyze, transform external data sources to build efficient models.

Data experts bridge external data (APIs, feeds, databases) into the framework's entity model. They handle data quality and transformation.

Verification: Data expert: study document covers data sources, transformation rules, and quality criteria.
